Water and other liquids are able to break down the type of food in the stomach and digestive system keeping track. Water also helps deliver oxygen throughout the body and helps produce energy that can be used in digestion. In addition, the water keeping the mouth, throat, and lips from dehydration and possible problems such as dry mouth and bad breath.


2. Makes you feel full fasterDrinking enough water while eating can make you feel full faster and decrease the number of calories consumed. Water can also react naturally with fiber contained in the food that causes the stomach to "swell". This process can activate receptors in the stomach and brain to your body to know that you have eaten enough. This makes the "drink during meals" a healthy weight control.


3. Refreshing mouthDrinking water while eating can also be a refreshing palate in your mouth and clean up the remaining food particles and removes residual food flavors of the dishes you eat.
